Celestial Equine is a browser-based fantasy equine game centered around the excitement of lore, breeding, combat, competition, and collecting! The world of Celestia gives you, the player, complete control of your horse's destiny and trajectory in the game. Players can customize every aspect of their horses from modifying genes, adding beautiful wearables, and more! This guide explains the core features of Celestial Equine and how each activity helps improve your horse.

CELESTIAL HORSES

Horse Creation

After registration, the most important task to get started in creating your first horse. To create a horse, simply navigate to the main Celestia map by clicking "Explore" from the navigation bar. From here the player will click "Horse Creation" to open the Horse Creation Area. Celestia has 18 origin worlds for players to choose from via drop-down, which houses a plethora of breeds. The creation area includes both CE Original Breeds and Player Registered breeds! After selecting an Origin World from the drop-down, the player will then select which creation area they would like to use (Standard or Premium). While the Premium creation area is only useable by Premium level accounts, all players can access this area to preview breeds and genetic options!

INTERACTING WITH HORSES

Celestial Equine is primarily centered around horse interaction. Breeding is the most heavily used form of horse interaction, which allows players to perfect lineage through selective breeding. Players may breed horses to perfect genetic stats, combine certain genetics, or to carry on a legacy of competitive horses. The goal of participating in each activity is to gain experience points, which equivelates value, and to breed a powerful lineage.

Current breeding algorithm for genetics:

40% chance of passing the sire's gene, 40% chance of passing the dam's gene, 10% chance of passing gene from sire's breed gene pool, 10% chance of passing gene from dam's gene pool.

Players can also interact with their horses from the interaction tab on horse profiles, which leads to an increase in health and happiness!

BREEDS

Another important portion of Celestial Equine is the breeds itself. Keep reading to learn more about CE Original Breeds, User Registered Breeds, and Cash Shop Breeds!

CE Original Breeds

Celestial Equine Original Breeds are released about once per month, occasionally once every two months, as a way to release new genetics into the game. All genetics connected to CE original breeds can be registered to new breeds by crossbreeding! Players will be prompted to register a new breed if they unlock a unique combination of genetics through the Breed Registry in the Celestial Library.

User Registered Breeds

User Registered breeds are breeds owned by CE players. These can be breeds eligible for registration through crossbreeding( as mentioned above) or breeds a player has commissioned by a game artist through the Art Depot. Players have the ability to set their breed for public creation, or limit creation by setting the breed to private. Private User breeds can only be created by the breed owner.

COLLECTING ITEMS

The Celestial shops are stocked every 30 minutes, which results in a complete refresh of items! Players should monitor the shops to ensure they find rare items to resell in their player shops, or utilize on their own horses!

THE ARMORY

The armory carries battle-related wearables, items for learning attacks, battle items (both attack and health restoring), and more!

THE TACK SHOP

The Tack Shop is your one-stop-shop for all things tack! From beautiful Hunter Jumper Saddles to neon-colored bell-boots, this shop has it all. Matching sets are constantly being added to this shop, so keep an eye out for new items!

THE CELESTIAL MARKET

The Celestial Market carries rare items from the destroyed 18 worlds. Wearables, delicious snacks, and more can be found in this shop.

THE MAGIC SHOP

The Magic Shop is a fantastic gene-based shop. Players can find rare body paint brushes, mane/tail genes, and rare markings in this shop. Check back often to find newly added genetics!

COMPETITIONS

Celestial competitions are one of the most well-known activities in the game! Competitions are judged nightly at 12 am game time.

BEAUTY CONTESTS

Beauty Contests are judged nightly at 12 am game time.

Believe you have the most beautiful horses in all of Celestia? Then the Beauty Contests are for you! Celestial Beauty Contests are an exciting head-to-head comparison game where the player votes for their favorite horse. The names are hidden, so the comparison is completely anonymous! After placing their vote, the horse's names are revealed along with their chances of winning the day's beauty contest. Enter your own horses and see how they fair!

BATTLE ARENA

The Battle Arena is a fantastic area to earn coins, battle monthly lore characters, and battle other players. Horses can earn experience points, special items, coins, and more from winning various battles.

NPC BATTLES

Each month NPC battles rotate to match the current Celestial Lore release and new breeds introduced into the game. NPCs will drop specific coins, items, and more the first time a player defeats them. Players can continue to battle the same NPCs, but the earnings will be reduced.

PLAYER VS. PLAYER BATTLES

Players may also challenge other players for fun! Battle for braggings rights, rewards, and more!
